Parent Volunteer Opportunity! Location: 203 Student Services Center The Office of Admissions along with the Parents Association will be hosting a training session for parents who are interested in becoming more involved in the recruitment process and other university events. Parents will learn more about the Admissions Office and what they can do to help recruit students from their respective regional areas and how they can be involved with events on campus through the Parents Association.
Volleyball vs. Murray State University Location: Coleman Coliseum "CAVE" Location: Parents Association Tailgate Tent Information about general student involvement opportunities and Freshman Forum will be available for students and parents. Refreshments will be provided.
Kick-off on the Quad - click here for more information The official pre-game Quad festivities for Alabama football. Food vendors, activities for children, tailgating, pre-game radio shows, and legends of Alabama football will all be on the quad for fans enjoyment.
Walk of Champions The team will be dropped off on the north end of the stadium approximately two hours and fifteen minutes prior to kick off. From there, the team will walk to the stadium.

Please look for the Parents Association banner on a large tent across University Boulevard from the Quad in front of Little Hall. Light refreshments will be served and you will have an opportunity to meet University administrators and other members of the UA family. Enter your UA student in a drawing for a semester’s in-state tuition or book scholarships. Drawing will be held at Parents Association tailgate tent on Saturday, September 13. Must be present to win. |

Elephant Stomp (Steps of Gorgas Library) As the Million Dollar Band plays their final note on the steps of Gorgas Library and begin their march to Bryant Denny, Tide fans are invited to fall in line behind them and “stomp” to the stadium to enjoy the pre-game activities and the opening kick off for the game.

United Methodist Friends & Family Sunday Worship and Luncheon Wesley Foundation and Trinity United Methodist Church invite families to worship together on Sunday morning and have lunch at our United Methodist Student Center. Students will lead in the worship service. The worship service will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church located at 729 Bryant Drive near Tutwiler Hall. The luncheon will begin after the worship service at 11:30am. The luncheon will be held at the Wesley Foundation Student Center located on Hackberry Lane at 9th Street across from Mary Burke Hall. Reservations are required for the luncheon. |

Bama Belle
As the Belle paddles gently along the riverbanks of Tuscaloosa, relax and enjoy the scenery of the Black Warrior River! Enjoy a dinner cruise on Friday night or an afternoon scenic tour on Saturday afternoon.

The Gorgas House was the first structure to be built on the University of Alabama campus and stands as an excellent example of Low Country architecture. The Gorgas House is one of only four buildings on campus to survive the Civil War and the only one designed by renowned architect William Nichols. The residence is now a house museum with collections of antiques and Gorgas family memorabilia.

Moundville Native American Festival
Eight hundred years ago, Moundville was the largest city in North America. Experience the wonder of this vanished Native American civilization.This festival celebrates the heritage and culture of Southeastern Indians. Discover who the original people who lived in our area were. Enjoy the Native American Stage, Arts Market and Food Court, Arts and Crafts Arbor, and a hands-on children's area.

Westervelt-Warner Museum of American Art
The Westervelt-Warner Museum of American Art houses one of the world’s finest collections of paintings, sculptures, furniture and decorative arts.
